AS ALWAYS THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT !! TED, AL & BILL POLICY: NETCA membership is determined by your geographical location. (NETCA is the 6 New England states Except Fairfield County Ct.) The NETCA BOD voted in 1996 to use this criteria as the test for NETCA membership and I have been following this in the sale of NETCA cars. Since NETCA charges no dues, there is no "membership" in NETCA. A number of people have sent in $3.00 to get a mailing of our newsletter. This does not make them NETCA members. We allow ONE car to TCA members who are not NETCA members and this includes people who read our website. The reason for the program is to raise money for the division and provide an attractive commemorative for the members. If all the cars go out of the division as purchases for "speculation" then the program fails. We have about 40 people outside the division who have been purchasing cars since the 80’s. The number has increased since we established our website, but has remained fair. If all else fails, the BOD has left the sale up to me. I have tried to be fair, to sell the cars and keep my sanity. Please keep this in the spirit of TCA. Thank you, Ted |
